Gaia is an immersive art experience sprouted from a DC-based group of artists, musicians, dancers, and magic. It invites the audience to participate and creates an interactive experience; part concert, part theater, part performance art. Odds are you haven’t seen anything quite like it.
My partner Lina and I collaborated with The Sweet Spot to create the Gaia experience. The Corcoran Gallery presented a new canvas; we used lighting and projection mapping to digitally paint its architecture and fill the space with light and color.
We used an iPad as a remote virtual Midi Controller to change the different visuals displayed and wirelessly interact with the video art installation.
